I do believe if you could miss the brightness in 3-D mode, it would be very convenient, but alas, you cannot. I have the Vizio eyeglasses. Another problem is that the IR sync is constantly smashing if anything gets in how or the angle becomes too far off axis. *EDIT* : I VIZIO XVT3D554SV have read a number of reviews and believe that it may be my articles selections thus far. If someone knows where to get several “reference” 3-D material, I will happily review and change this accordingly.

All round, the set cannot be beat for the selling price I got the idea for. There may be far better sets, but they’re plasma tv’s and/or considerably more expensive. Three dimensional, DLNA, etc. Also i have to mention People this is one of the very few models that COMES WITH A PAIR OF Animations SUNGLASSES! Im not hot for 3D but it is useful once in a blue moon considering. I think the spectacles are crappy however, that’s probably why Samsung included all of them with the TV instead of getting an arm and a lower leg for them seperately.
